PC is down

It has been quite the week. First my PC breaks then my domain name with Network Solutions expires. Thank goodness I got the website back up pretty quickly. I am still struggling with my PC. UGGGGHHHHHHH. Both Morley and Steven have worked on it. It only works in safe mode. I need to get it in but need files transferred first. Oh how I rely on technology. Ashton left for Youth Conference today. I had to make him two tunics and two belts and two headbands to hold a head piece on his head. It took me eight hours to do that. They turned out ok. Ashton will be back on Friday afternoon. Yeah!!! He is a traveling guy this summer. He has been gone almost as much as he has been home.

Ashton goes to the NYLF (National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine)

Here is the group that Ashton was with each day to learn more about the medical field. They toured Washington D.C. for a couple of days during the ten days he was there.

Ashton Sutures

Ashton learned how to do sutures. He practiced on a banana while he was at his conference in Washington D.C.

Celebrate good times - come on!

Tonight Morley & Virginia and Steve and Adelaide came and we had yummy turkey sandwiches. I picked up Maddie after work and Ashton was a big help with getting the food and helping with Maddie. When it got dark we went out and did fireworks. It is always fun when we are together as a family. Morley & Virginia took Maddie home for the evening. Adelaide had fun playing with her. What a blast!!!

Dinner at Morley & Virginia's

So we had a good dinner at Morley and Virginia's yesterday. Ashton is in Washington D.C. Adelaide & Steven came also. I made Lamb Stew and Beef & Lentil Soup. It turned out pretty good for both. Adelaide & Steven brought rolls and Morley & Virginia made tapicoa pudding. Yum Yum. We had a very good time! Morley and Virginia's house is really looking great. It is a very cute house. What memories!
